Computing Curriculum Support
The national curriculum for computing has been developed to equip young people in England with the foundational skills, knowledge and understanding of computing they will need for the rest of their lives. Through the programme of study for computing, they will learn how computers and computer systems work, they will design and build programs, develop their ideas using technology and create a range of content.
This provides schools with a major challenge but also an exciting opportunity.
In practice the curriculum in schools will need to evolve as teaching staff become more proficient and confident and as pupils develop new skills and understanding.
With our experience in teaching many aspects of the new curriculum and through advisory work in a wide variety of schools, Lexicon Learning make the ideal partners to help and support schools to produce a dynamic and exciting curriculum.
We will make regular visits to your school to help with planning and implementing this new curriculum. We will provide expertise, ideas for lessons and advice on the most appropriate software. Between visits we can be contacted by email for additional help and support.
Bronze level 3 x (termly) visits £200
Silver level 6 x (half-termly) visits £372
